#Dump1090 planeplotter update#
Update to use the configuration / packaging scripts developed for dump1090-mutability. Add Conflicts: piaware for faup1090, as the standard package provides the same binary. It does not include the extras found in the mutability version for those, use a dump1090-mutability release. This might work if linux can find the "filename.jar" - give it a try. This package is based on the FlightAware version of dump1090. Add the bits in red to the existing script (I've not included all the old script here to keep it shorter - do not delete anything from script - just add!! Check on the net for these or other similar programs. The installation documents will help. As described in help manual, when using RTL1090 feed data to FR24feed, data should be AVR format. However, after upgrading FR24feed to latest version, here comes a conflict. When using old version FR24feed, everything is OK. Looking at that shell script, someone added starting up ppup1090 from the original version so why not try adding your java command as well. Let RTL1090 decode data then send to FR24feed & Planeplotter. # Check to see if we are running as root first.Įcho "This script must be run as root" 1>&2Įcho "Usage: $0 " 1>&2 It does not depend on GNU Radio, has a number of interactive modes, and it even optionally runs its own HTTP server with googlemaps overlay of discovered. Execute the following command to begin configuring dump1090-mutability using the ADS-B Receiver setup scripts. YOU CAN FEED THE OUTPUT FROM DUMP1090 INTO THE PLANEPLOTTER PROGRAM AND ALSO THE VIRTUAL RADAR PROGRAM.
